WHere is a home-style version of a drink found on a new cocktail list. Designed as a batch pre-mixed which is loaded full of essence associated with festive period, rendering it perfect for hosting a holiday party. Any leftover cordial to use in brunch beverages, desserts, or to mix more rounds of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 people
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Method
Making the Cordial: Combine all the components into a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating to dissolve. Next, take off the burner and let it to cool down completely. Pour into a sealable bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, where it will keep for up to a month.
For the Premix: Combine the specified liquids in a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
To serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base into a mixing glass packed with ice, and stir lightly for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and complete it using a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the top.
