Soccer Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Incentive for Missing Pet in Mexico to $20,000
Wales soccer player Ramsey has boosted the reward for leads about the vanished pet named Halo to £15k.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
The beagle, who disappeared on October 9th, was equipped with a tracking device, and the footballer posted a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any sort of updates about our Halo please get in touch with us. Significant bounty for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is safe and will return with us shortly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Initial Bounty and Emotional Appeals
The footballer first announced that Halo had disappeared a fortnight back and has since uploaded numerous photos of the beloved dog on his social media account.
A £7.5k incentive was first announced, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the amount.
"All we desire is our girl returned," he stated in another appeal on social media after the elderly pet was lost.
The latest picture post is a monochrome image of Halo sleeping, her head resting in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the description: "What I'd do to cuddle you one last time Halo."
Household's Concerns and Background
The footballer has also circulated a note from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media saying they have a few "serious questions" about the incident and fear the household "might not get answers".
"To this day we are still searching for Halo. I fear we will ever," his wife's post stated.
The Welsh leader signed with Mexico's premier team Pumas UNAM recently and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.
